Our dry-out and heat-up technology is based on the use of High Velocity excess air burners, which have been especially developed for the Heat-up and dry-out of all types and sizes of smelting furnaces & furnaces/kilns/vessels and refractory lined components. Uniform heating is obtained by slightly pressurising the unit.
Our excess air burners can burn most reasonable C.V. Gases and also some unspecified refinery gases.
We also have high velocity excess air oil burners which can burn diesel, kerosene and some poly-fuels. These operate without the necessity of a gas pilot.
We offer controlled furnace cool down which minimizes refractory damage and facilitates easy refractory contraction control.
We can also undertake furnace expansion control on glass furnace heating.
We also have electronic refractory expansion and contraction measurement facilities if required.
Glass furnace draining can be provided in consultation with the client. Should this be required.
Heating, cooling and Temperature holding.
We have held stoves for longer than 4 months. During the rebuild of the blast furnace.
Cullet fill in can be done on request should this be required.
Regenerator melt-outs also undertaken.
We offer the same dry-out and heat-up services for cement kilns, drying out kiln hoods and hopper areas.
Our equipment is operated by our own trained technicians. Each burner has its own combustion air fan and fuel safety shut-off feature. The internal flame is continuously scanned by a U.V. cell, which in case of a flame failure will automatically shut it down and sound an audible alarm.
